FarmPure Foods has various rigorous standards and quality inspections in place from the beginning of production through to finished product packaging. Our quality and inspections processes include:
Our quality protocol begins with the oats we select from our family of growers who follow a very rigid set of guidelines in nurturing, harvesting, cleaning, handling, sizing and delivering oats that meet our quality standards. Once the oats are accepted at our pure oat dedicated plant they are processed in a controlled environment and batch tested with the world's leading technology to further ensure purity of the oats and all other ingredients used in our recipes.
We complement our purity process with a HACCP system. This is a systematic preventative approach to food safety that addresses physical, chemical and biological hazards as a means of prevention rather than finished product inspection. HACCP is used in the food industry to identify potential food safety hazards, so that key actions, known as Critical Control Points (CCP's) can be taken to reduce or eliminate the risk of the hazards being realised. The system is used at all stages of food production and preparation processes.
